The Pulse III Amplifier Like all Leema amplifiers the Pulse III is first and foremost incredibly proficient at its primary job: amplifying the delicate music signal and driving the loudspeakers with subtlety, vice-like grip, and precise control. The flexible array of analogue inputs includes a LIPS® configurable AV input, a switchable moving magnet and moving coil phono input, and a front panel MP3 player input. Additional features include record output, full remote control, headphone output, and for total peace of mind, full short circuit protection. In addition to the comprehensive selection of analogue inputs, the Pulse III includes four digital inputs: two optical, one coax and one USB input to allow the connection of external digital components such as Sky TV, the Sonos music server, and the Sony PS3. The Stream III CD Player The Stream III CD player features an all-new slot loading transport which is controlled by Leema\ s own custom firmware providing secure and reliable disc handling and the best retrieval of the digital information stored on the disc, with less jitter and digital error than could be achieved off-the-shelf drives and software. The new Leema Quad DAC is a further refinement of Leema's own highly successful MD² Multi-DAC giving a shorter signal path and even better performance. In common with the Pulse III, the Stream III features four digital inputs. These allow the connection of external digital components so that the award-winning performance for Leema is renowned can now be extended to achieve stunning results from a whole range of digital devices. In addition to the Coax digital output the Stream III features a USB digital output, which enables bit-perfect digital archiving. Both the Stream III and Pulse III feature LIPS®, which enables them to automatically and intelligently configure other devices into a multi-unit home entertainment system of uncompromised audiophile quality. LIPS® was designed with families in mind. No longer will only one member of the family be able to fully use the system, resulting in more enjoyment for everyone. The Stream III and the Pulse III also feature Leema's new Navimech, which provides delightfully simple and intuitive control. The elegantly svelte fascias are machined from solid aluminium to the exacting standards of Leema\ s state-of-the-art metalworker, who spends his time when not producing Leema panels, machining critical engine and suspension components for the leading Formula 1 racing teams.
