The Innovation Compact joins the Innovation in a new generation of Clearaudio turntables. This model incorporates many of the technical features of the Innovation turntable in a more compact construction. The new and innovative Clearaudio developed OSC (Optical Speed Control) motor control ensures precise rotational speed of the platter and provides convenient electronic speed change. In combination with the patented CMB (Ceramic Magnetic Bearing) main bearing the Innovation Compact turntable achieves unbeatable speed accuracy. The Innovation Compact shares many more key features with the Innovation: • Resonance optimised chassis shape and construction. • Fine height adjustment to ensure absolute level position of the turntable. • Dynamically balanced 70 mm thick precision CNC machined high density POM (Polyoxymethylene) platter. • Bespoke decoupled high torque DC motor. • Two tonearm mounting bases allowing the use of two tonearms. • Panzerholz (bullet proof wood) version available with improved resonant behaviour.
