Micromega Returns

Absolute Sounds, the premier distributor of high-end hi-fi and home cinema equipment, is bringing the famous and pioneering Parisian brand, Micromega, back to UK stores. Micromega was a popular and respected brand in the 1990s in particular but it had a troubled history in the UK and ultimately the company was sold. Its new owner, Didier Hamdi, an entrepreneurial former motor bike racer has great plans for the brand. The first raft of products being made available include three CD players, an FM tuner, three integrated amplifiers, a stereo pre-amplifier, two stereo power amplifiers and an AV pre-amplifier/processor. Prices range from £700 to £1998. Also in the pipeline is the Micromega WM-10, which will enable computer music fans to stream their album collection through their hi-fi wirelessly. We hope that we might be able to bring you a review sometime in the near future.
