U.K. Specialist Hi-Fi distributor Sound Fowndations is delighted to announce the addition of CANOR to its expanding portfolio.

CANOR, formerly known as EDGAR is a Slovakian manufacturer of mid to high-end valve (vacuum tube) based hi-fi equipment.  What distinguishes CANOR from the majority of valve-based equipment manufacturers is their commitment to reliability and consistency.  With this in mind CANOR have developed two burn-in and test pieces of equipment.  These allow the manufacturer to thoroughly burn in the valves and then test them for reliability, noise and other aspects of performance.  By virtue of this extra step in the production of the hi-fi equipment, CANOR hi-fi equipment combines the wonderful audio performance typified by the best valve equipment with the consistency and reliability of the best solid state equipment. 

Sound Fowndations are importing the majority of the CANOR range including a headphone amplifier, three phono stages two CD players and two amplifiers.  The first products to arrive are the stunning VR range including integrated amplifier, compact disc player and phonostage.

All CANOR products are beautifully built and finished with easy-to-read dot matrix displays.  The top-of-the-range models feature selected audiophile components including the excellent Mundorf capacitors.
