Meridian celebrates 40th anniversary with limited edition hi-fi system Meridian have launched a limited edition Hi-fi system, comprising an upgraded pair of SP8000 speakers and 808 Signature Reference CD player in celebration of their 40th anniversary .   Only 40 numbered editions will be produced worldwide, and each one will be signed by the firm's founders Bob Stuart and Allen Boothroyd and will come with an engraved plate showing its number in the series.   available in the exclusive 'Ruby' finish, with co-ordinated glass inset panels, speaker grilles and tweeter surround.   Each system will be supplied with a book illustrating the history of Meridian's Digital Signal Processing (DSP) speakers.   For your £60,000 investment you even get a Meridian engineer sent to your home to fine-tune the system once it's been installed.
